The Faculty of Geology and Mines strives to become a reputable and academically recognized center of excellence in the field of mining through educating competent professionals grounded in scientific research and equipped with Islamic values.
Mission:
The Faculty of Geology and Mines actively contributes the society by providing professional services in the fields of geology and mining through scientific research, imparting knowledge and the enhancement of students’ skills. The Faculty is committed to educating competent professionals who are dedicated to Islamic, scientific values, thereby it plays active role in the sustainable development of the country's geology and mining sector.

1.Maximum utilization of all available resources (including collections, laboratories, etc),for the provision
of academic services and the promotion of innovation.
2.Providing effective educational services to enhance students’ theoretical and practical capacities and ensuring equitable access to higher education for all.
3.Improving the effectiveness of management and leadership, and taking decisive measures against administrative corruption.
